Featured Fellow: Madison Miller

We have a wonderful new class of Greensboro Fellows coming to join us at the end of August! We want to feature a Fellow each month for the next 10 months, so you can get to know them better! First up… Madison Miller!

Madison Milller is from Dallas Texas and graduated from Wheaton College in 2018. She has been working for two years in ministry and is highly mature and gifted for her age. The Lord has given her a vision for her life, but it has been hard for her to find a place to equip her.

She met with her pastor, Reverend Canon David H. Roseberry at Christ Church in Plano, and she shared her vision. She wanted to combine spiritual direction, a permaculture farm, and spiritual formation ministry all working together. She desired to hold celebration banquets where people gather for a meal, worshiping God for His provision, anticipating the banquet of the great marriage feast with Christ and His Bride. She asked if he knew of a place for her to learn and grow in her call. He told her a place like that does not exist.

A week after they met, Reverend Roseberry came to Church of the Redeemer and preached in our Generosity sermon series. He heard about the Greensboro Fellows, New Garden Farm, our celebration banquets, and our focus on spiritual formation. Going back he told her, “I found such a place!”

We are excited to have Madison with us, working at New Garden Farm. We love her and her vision! She sees working the soil and garden as a way to experience God as the Gardener and Sower in our souls. She desires to grow as a spiritual director, listening and directing people in their growth in Christ. And as people work the farm with her, they talk about how God is at work in their lives together. When they gather the harvest they can enjoy a celebration feast as a way to celebrate God and His goodness.

We look forward to coming alongside Madison and equipping her in her call as a spiritual director, gardener/farmer, and spiritual formation shepherd. We are honored God called us into this sacred ministry of building up leaders for His kingdom, equipped and released to do the good works He has planned for them (Ephesians 2:10).
