Chosen in Christ
Do you think of yourself as blessed? What comes up in your mind at that question? Do you think of your financial status, your family life, your job? In Ephesians, Paul teaches that true blessing is spiritual and eternal, starting with the truth that God chose and predestined believers before the world began, not because of their merit but because of His love and grace. Since humanity is fallen and spiritually dead in sin, people cannot choose God on their own; salvation requires God’s action, giving new life and faith as a gift. In this message, we learn more about the theological principles of election, predestination, and assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ.
