Walking in the Spirit

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul spends much time juxtaposing the flesh and the Spirit. Our flesh is always working--to gratify, protect, or prove its own self. But the Spirit is also at work, and in infinitely better ways, bearing fruit in the lives of God's children which honors him and builds up others. In this sermon series, we'll be considering what it means to truly walk by the Spirit--not striving in our flesh to please ourselves or to please God on our own, but to cultivate our hearts to be ready for his work within us as he fashions us more into the image of our Lord Jesus. We hope this guide will be a helpful examen for you as you seek to abide in him by the power of his Spirit.

Scripture Reading: Galatians 5:13-26, Psalm 1
