Palm Sunday: Paving the Way to Holy Week

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, where we look at the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, ushering in the beginning of Jesus’s final week of earthly ministry, his journey to the cross, and ultimately, his victory over death at his glorious resurrection. Rev. JD Meeder walks us through how Jesus got here, why the crowds were gathering in expectation, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” when, in just a few days, those shouts of praise would turn into demands for his death. Palm Sunday paves the way not just for Holy Week, but for the greatest story of Love ever told.
